Hynninen brings to Carey greater than 25 years of expertise in traditional and digital/social marketing, strategy, branding, acquisition and retention initiatives, partnerships, creative, analysis, and communications. Before becoming a member of Carey, Hynninen served as chief marketing officer at Redbox, a leader in film and game DVD rentals. Under her management, client engagement across all digital advertising touch points grew by double digits. Prior to becoming a member of Redbox, Hynninen served as chief advertising officer and executive vice president of selling for National Geographic Channels. Her advertising efforts led to triple-digit increases within the channelâs viewership and revenues. In addition, Hynninen has held senior advertising positions with numerous brands including The Weather Channel, Holiday Inn, and Kraft Foods. Hynninen earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Marketing from the University of Richmond Robins School of Business. 100 International Drive
